A trading journal that syncs your broker for you

The journal you actually keep is the one you don't have to update. Consistry connects to your broker read-only and pulls in every closed trade with real net P&L — no nightly CSV, no manual entry. Here's exactly what it syncs and how.

TL;DR

Consistry auto-syncs MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, TopstepX, Match-Trader, DXtrade, TradeLocker, Tradovate and NinjaTrader — read-only, with real net P&L — and imports any CSV for the rest. Built for prop, so your synced history carries across every challenge instead of breaking on reset.

Platforms that auto-sync

cTrader

TradeLocker

How broker sync works

01

Connect read-only

You give Consistry read-only access — an investor password, a read-only API key, or an OAuth grant depending on the platform. It can see your trades; it can never place or modify one.

02

Trades sync with real net P&L

Closed trades pull in automatically with the broker's real net P&L — not a price-reconstructed estimate. No nightly CSV, no manual typing, no fat-fingered cells.

03

Your history follows every challenge

Because Consistry is built for prop, a reset or new challenge doesn't break your history. Every account and firm rolls up into one trader profile the AI remembers.

04

Anything else imports via CSV

Platforms outside the auto-sync list (e.g. Rithmic, CQG, US-equity brokers) import via CSV or an MT4/MT5 statement in seconds, with de-dupe on re-import.

Frequently asked

Which trading journal auto-syncs my broker?

Consistry auto-syncs MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, TopstepX (ProjectX), Match-Trader, DXtrade, TradeLocker, Tradovate and NinjaTrader — the platforms prop firms actually run — with a read-only connection that imports real net P&L. Anything else imports via CSV.

Is broker auto-sync safe? Can it trade for me?

It's read-only. Consistry connects with an investor password, a read-only API key, or an OAuth grant that only permits reading your trade history. It cannot place, modify or close trades, and it never sees withdrawal access.

Does auto-sync use my real P&L or an estimate?

Real net P&L from the broker, not a price-reconstructed estimate. That's the whole point — your journal matches your account to the cent, including fees where the platform exposes them.

Is broker auto-sync free?

Auto-sync is part of the $15/mo Premium plan, which has a 14-day free trial (limited to one MetaTrader account during the trial). The free-forever plan still lets you log trades by hand or import CSVs without a card.

Which platforms don't auto-sync?

Rithmic and CQG (used by some futures prop firms) and most US-equity brokers aren't on the live auto-sync list — those import via CSV or statement in seconds, with de-dupe so re-imports never double-count.
